Today’s header is a picture I took of one of my favorite parts of what I tend to refer to as “My New York.” It was taken in one of those moments when you feel the need to “Reboot”– clear your mind and start fresh.
The arch of the Washington Memorial in NYC… one of many markers that lend our city its identity and flavor. Standing in a place like this, taking the time to let the place and its history sink in, can inspire one of these “reboot” moments. Whether the history is personal — a day with a friend — or public — something you learned about this place, George Washington, Washington Square Park, etc. — it’s a thought that inspires you to shift away from a negative moment and turn to a positive, more productive outlook and a better grasp of your own identity and the way you envision yourself, present and future.
If you have a picture of a place that inspired you, please feel free to share the link with us!
Enjoy the day!
