The School of Education invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty member at Assistant Professor level in TESOL and Bilingual Education to teach in our outstanding undergraduate and graduate education programs in New York City and Westchester campuses beginning in September, 2015.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold a relevant doctorate. ABD candidates who will complete degree requirements by August 2016 will also be considered. An excellent record of teaching, scholarship, and professional/community service is required.

  • Experience with inquiry-based and online/blended learning
  • Experience in a leadership role in schools, organizations, or districts
  • Familiarity with elementary and high school settings
  • Evidence of having designed, implemented, and/or evaluated innovative projects or programs related to TESOL or Bilingual Education
  • Successful grant writing
